Problem

Green Shutter’s packaging system consists of a scale, hopper, and valve door. During operation, a specific tea blend is transferred from the hopper, through the open valve door, and into a bag sitting atop a scale. When the target weight of that bag is reached, the valve door on the hopper closes automatically. However, because each blend has a different density and volume, the target weights varies between tea blends. For Green Shutter Tea customers, the weight of the bag was less of a concern than the volume. They need full bags of each tea blend, and a full bag of one type of tea may weigh a different amount than a full bag of another type of tea.  need a full bag, and they do not necessarily need their bag of one tea blend.
